It’s not just a clever slogan with a fun rhyme, it’s the philosophy and mission behind the SeeHer organization. Growing SeeHer’s coalition of marketing and media leaders who are passionate about representing women and girls accurately, will not only bring about gender equality, something we are passionate about here at Curiosity, it’s proven to drive business growth. In other words, there’s no reason for businesses not to do the right thing.

The challenge

Convince CMOs that joining SeeHer and using the tools to ensure an accurate representation of women and girls in the media, isn’t just the right moral decision, it’s a savvy business decision.

The strategy

Representation is not a destination.

We aren’t there yet. Because many industry leaders believe they’ve achieved equality, they’re either not signing up or not following through on their SeeHer commitment. Our job? Get decision-makers to understand that it pays to do the right thing.

Women hold 85% of the household spending power. Through this campaign, we wanted to show just how powerful even young girls are when it comes to making or breaking a brand. We wanted to show that women deserve to be respected and represented accurately – and we wanted to make sure a team of powerful women, from the music to the Kummerl sisters directing team, to our cinematographer, to post-production, were the ones to bring it to life.
